Dear Prayer Warriors,

I pray this message finds you well and deeply rooted in the peace of Christ. Truly, the lives being impacted by the Gospel here are a fruit of faithful prayers and partnership in missions. You brothers and sisters are woven into every testimony, every meal distributed, every baptism, and every moment of hope restored.

War Relief & Gospel Outreach in Siem Reap

From December till now, international YWAM teams came in large numbers to serve Cambodia during a tense and uncertain season. Their zeal was unmistakable. Many of them slept in places of refuge alongside internally displaced people (IDPs) who had fled to neighboring provinces seeking safety. Our team in these locations provided education and school supplies to over 10,000 people, and distributed food to 35,000 families.

With over one-hundred-thousand people living in these IDP areas. We were unable to track how many heard the Gospel during this time, but we estimate it was in the thousands. Even in displacement and fear, seeds of hope were planted.

Praise God, our base is no longer on high alert. While stability is returning, we continue meeting practical needs in our community while boldly and lovingly sharing the Gospel. Your prayers are so evident!

Discipleship Training School: 9 Baptisms!

We recently launched our Discipleship Training School (DTS) with 24 students, four of whom are international. This group is alive with hunger for the Lord and is now entering their outreach preparation phase, preparing to go into short-term missions.

And here is the beautiful news: Nine of these students have surrendered their lives to Jesus and have been baptized.

It is hard to describe what it feels like to walk with students week after week teaching, mentoring, praying and then watching the Lord open their hearts in surrender. We are witnessing generational cycles breaking! We are seeing identity restored. We are watching young men and women step into the truth that they are beloved children of God. “They are getting to know Jesus, our Jesus!!! The Daddy who knit them in their mothers womb and has been singing over their lives from day one." How precious. This is what missions is for and what a gift to witness this.

Side Note: As I was writing this I got an image from the scripture when the Prophet Zephaniah is calling the Israelites to turn from Idol worship, and old ways (sin). Zephaniah brings this image of God's intimate love and presence.

"The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing."

Zephaniah 3:17 (ESV)

What is DTS

DTS, or Discipleship Training School, is a formation track designed to help students encounter God and deepen their relationship with Him. Often run through ministries such as Youth With A Mission (YWAM), it combines biblical teaching, mentorship, community living, and international missions.

The first three months focus on foundational themes like the nature of God, the Father heart of God, the lordship of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, identity in Christ, relationships, spiritual warfare, and missions. Students live in community and receive weekly mentorship as they grow in spiritual maturity.

After the lecture phase, students are sent on a two to three month international outreach where they share the Gospel and serve alongside local ministries. DTS is ultimately a season of transformation that strengthens faith and awakens a heart for the nations.

Love Siem Reap Evangelism Festival

After more than a year of preparation, we had the honor of partnering with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for the Love Siem Reap Evangelism Festival.

Originally planned for December, the main event was prayerfully moved to January, months prior to the war declared. In hindsight, the Lord’s timing was perfect. Instead of being overshadowed by war tensions, the event became a declaration of hope after a devastating season.

We welcomed Franklin Graham and his team here to Cambodia. Over 27,000 people attended, and more than 2,000 individuals gave their lives to Jesus. With months of uncertainty, the atmosphere in the city shifted. The Lord is moving. Our team really felt that the Lord was highlighting how much the He was in the details. How cool is God.

Prayer Requests

DTS Students: Pray for protection, boldness, and spiritual growth especially for the nine newly baptized students.

Leadership & Staff: Our team has been running on overdrive since the war. There is joy, but also fatigue. Please pray for renewal, unity, and rest.

Spiritual Warfare: We are located in a red-light district, surrounded by brothels, and just 10 minutes from Angkor Wat. The spiritual realities here are not distant they are daily. This past season has felt heavy. Please cover us in prayer for endurance, clarity, and joy.

Thank you for praying into what God is doing in Cambodia. Your prayers are not small. They are shaping stories, protecting lives, and ushering people into the Kingdom.

-With love and prayerful gratitude,

Alexis Muñoz
